The vineyard of the Gaillacois, is located in the Tarn area down the Midi Pyrénées region, nearby the cities Toulouse and Albi. It is is one of the oldest wine producing area of France; this vineyard is famous because of the diversity of its soils and its traditional grapes such as Mauzac, Len de l\'El , Muscadelle and Ondenc for the white wines and Duras, Braucol and Negrette for the red wines. Red are powerful and chewy and recommended with game meat, paté, poultry, mushrooms, duck , cassoulet and Brie, Cabecou and Tome du Tarn cheeses. Whites are dry and fruity and recommended with sea food and fish. Sparkling wines (Gaillac Perlé - with small bubbles - and moussseux "Méthode Gaillacoise" ) are rich and aromatic; they are recommended for the aperitif, sea food, salmon and fondue, while the sweetest fit with foie gras, Roquefort and desserts. Rosé are light and easy to drink.
