La Côtes de Beaune
The Côte de Beaune starts from Ladoix and ends at Dezize-les-Maranges; like the Côte de Nuits, the area belongs to this 40 kilometres long, and in most places less than 2 kilometres wide area, the heart of the Burgundy, the Côte d\'Or. In the Côte de Beaune the famous Pommard, Volnay, Aloxe-Corton and also white wines are produced. The temperatures are slightly higher than the Côte de Nuits in the south of the area. While the vineyards of the Côte de Nuits are situated east, the vineyards of the Côte de Beaune are located south east. These wines are very elegant with very rich flavours of fruits, flowers, almond They are recommended with red meat, rabbit, duck,and game meat and cheeses like Emmental and Gruyère.
