Puisseguin Saint Emilion
Puisseguin Saint-Emilion is one of the four "appellations satellites" of the Saint Emilion vineyard. It is located to the north of the city Saint-Emilion and on the right bank of the Barbanne River.
Only red wines are produced in that area, which are full bodied with aromas of red fruits, herbs and spices, and have a great potential. While they are traditionally blended from Bordeaux grapes such as Merlot, Cabernet-Franc and Cabernet-Sauvignon grapes, Merlot is predominant.
They are recommended with lamb, salmon, mushrooms and cheeses like Comté, Reblochon and Cantal.
